Summer Reading 2022: Rising Classes X-XII

With summer vacation comes the joy of reading for pleasure.  The library summer reading list highlights some of our favorite recently published books in a variety of genres and formats, and is not meant to be an exhaustive list of all the high quality literature available. Reading from this list is not mandatory, and we encourage you to seek out suggestions from friends, teachers, and from your public library and favorite bookstores too. 

We have made all of the books (and many more!) available through Sora, our ebook platform. Your username (library card number) is available on your Contact Card in the portal. Please e-mail Ms. Goldstein (sgoldstein@brearley.org) with questions. Our public library systems also have a wide range of books available electronically.

For those looking to purchase books, www.bookshop.org supports local bookstores, including the Corner Bookstore, The Lit Bar, Books are Magic, and Astoria Bookstore, while offering reasonable prices and shipping directly to your home.
